Gulf Shores City Schools broke ground on a new, $131 million high school that will impact every student in the system. The event marks the beginning of a 2-year construction schedule.

“Together we will build not just a school but a legacy that will endure for years to come,” school board president Kevin Corcoran said at the ceremony Friday morning.
