Missouri cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine has accepted an invitation to the 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl, it was announced Monday.

Abrams-Draine is a Mobile native who played his high school football at Spanish Fort. He is currently tied for second in the SEC with four interceptions this season, along with 46 tackles and seven pass breakups.

Abrams-Draine is a three-year starter for Missouri, which is 9-2 this season headed into Friday’s regular-season finale at Arkansas. Fellow Tiger Darius Robinson, a defensive lineman, also committed Monday to the Senior Bowl.

Abrams-Draine is the first player with state or local ties to commit to play in the 75th anniversary Senior Bowl, which takes place Feb. 3 at Mobile’s Hancock Whitney Stadium. For the first time, the 2024 version of the annual all-star game and NFL draft showcase will allow non-graduate underclassmen to participate.

Other notable players already committed to the Senior Bowl are Tulane quarterback Michael Pratt, Florida wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, Florida State tight end Jaheim Bell, Kansas State offensive lineman Cooper Beebe and Texas defensive lineman T’Vondre Sweat. Other committed players will be announced periodically in the days leading up to Senior Bowl week.

The 2024 Senior Bowl, sponsored for the first time this year by the NFL Players Association, kicks off at noon on Feb. 3. NFL Network will televise the game live.
