Here’s what to know about today’s Birmingham Stallions championship parade

The Birmingham Stallions won the USFL championship for the second year in a row. And for the second year in a row, the city will celebrate.

The city of Birmingham will host a championship parade for the Birmingham Stallions on Sunday, July 2.

The parade will begin at 2:30 p.m. CDT at Protective Stadium (1020 24th St N, Birmingham) and conclude at Birmingham City Hall (710 20th St N, Birmingham). The parade route from the stadium to city hall will proceed down Richard Arrington Jr. Boulevard and follow Rev. Abraham Woods Jr. Boulevard to 20th Street in front of city hall.

The parade will wrap up with a victory celebration in front of city hall where the public will be able to watch the players hoist the championship trophy. Events will also include T-shirt giveaways and opportunities for photographs.
