Auburn gymnastics gets recruiting win, beats out Oklahoma, Florida, LSU and Alabama for 4-star

Move over Coach Freeze, Jeff Graba wants a word after a recruiting win of his own.

Graba and the Auburn gymnastics team got word Friday morning that Charlotte Booth, a class of 2025 4-star gymnast out of Clermont, Fla., was committing to the Tigers.

Auburn beat out the defending national championship-winning Oklahoma Sooners, the NCAA runner-up Florida Gators, the LSU Tigers and the Alabama Crimson Tide for Booth’s commitment.

“The journey I have been on over the past few months has been amazing and I am so grateful and humbled for the offers and experiences I have had at each of the schools I visited,” Booth wrote on her Instagram account Friday.

“Auburn has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. I know it is the right place for me. I will get to do what I love and have truly found a place I can call home.”

At the Winter Cup elite event in February, Booth earned a silver medal-finish on bars, besting Michigan commit Myli Lew and LSU commit Lexi Zeiss. Booth finished eighth in the all-around competition at the Winter Cup.

With the commitment of Booth, Auburn’s growing recruiting class for the 2025 cycle continues to impress.

Norah Christian and Brynn Torry — two other 4-stars, according to College Gym News — committed to Auburn earlier this month.

Auburn’s 2025 class will come on the heels of its sixth-ranked 2024 recruiting class, according to College Gym News.
