2 killed, 4 severely injured in single-vehicle crash on Birmingham’s Graymont Avenue

An early-morning crash in Birmingham left two women dead and four other people injured.

Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service and Birmingham police responded at 5:15 a.m. Sunday to the 800 block of Graymont Avenue West on a report of a single-vehicle crash.

When they arrived, they found two women – included the driver – dead on the scene, said Battalion Chief Tobias Jones.

The other four patients – three females and one male – had to be extricated from the vehicle.

One of those victims is in critical condition. Jones said the other three victims have severe injuries.
