Local investors paid $300,000 for a 2.736-square-foot building at 5009 Cottage Hill Road in Mobile, and plan to open a vape shop, according to Robert Cook of Vallas Realty who handled the transaction. The building was formerly occupied by a dry cleaning business.
Batesville Casket Company has leased 15,000 square feet of warehouse space at 3450 Armour Ave., in Mobile, according to Tommy Gleason of CRE Mobile, who represented the landlord. Tim Mills of The Cummings Company worked for the tenant. Batesville Casket is the largest casket manufacturer in the United States.
DirectTV has leased 5,000 square feet of office warehouse space at 3100 Lees Lane in Mobile, according to Steadman Bethea of Stirling, who represented the tenant. Chris Harle of White-Spunner Realty worked for the landlord.
Two new tenants have leased space in University Oaks Shopping Center: El Rincon Tacos & Margaritas has leased 1,200 square feet at 1956 Cottage Hill Road.
