Yankees-Astros free livestream: How to watch MLB games, TV, schedule
The MLB regular season continues this afternoon, as the New York Yankees play against the Houston Astros at 4:05 p.m. CT on MLB Network. Fans can livestream the game for free by using the free trials offered by DirecTV Stream and Fubo TV.
The New York Yankees enter today’s game with a 25-13 record, and they are tied with the Baltimore Orioles for first place in the American League East. The Yankees have also won five games in a row, as they look to extend their win streak against the Astros today.
This afternoon’s matchup will end the three game series between these two teams. During the first two games, the Yankees outscored the Astros 19-7. Yesterday’s matchup included incredible offensive performances from two star players for the Yankees, Juan Soto and Aaron Judge. Soto finished the game with five RBI and a home run, while Judge ended with three RBI and a home run. These two players accounted for nearly all of their team’s runs yesterday and are the key pieces to the Yankees offense this season.
The Astros enter the final game of this series with a 12-24 record, and they have lost four games in a row. This terrible record puts them in last place of the American League West, which is an uncharacteristically poor start for the Astros because the last time they missed the postseason was 2016. Despite their terrible start to the 2024 MLB regular season, the Astros still have a chance to win the division. They are currently only 8.5 games behind the division-leading Texas Rangers, which is not insurmountable because of the numerous amount of games remaining this season.
