‘World’s greatest role-playing game’ now has its own USPS stamp
Dungeon’s and Dragons fans celebrate – not only is your favorite fantasy game turning 50, it’s getting a postage stamp.
The U.S. Postal Service will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the role-playing game with new D&D stamps at Gen Con Indy 2024 gaming convention. The stamp sheets will be offered at Lucas Oil Stadium during the event or across the street at the Indianapolis Main Post Office.
The stamps will be issued as Forever stamps, meaning they will always be equal to the value of a current First-Class Mail stamp. You can purchase stamps through the postal store at usps.com/shopstamps or by calling 844-737-7826.
D&D involves players collaborating on an open-ended story guided by books, dice and imagination. It has an estimated 64 million fans worldwide since its debut in 1974.
The stamp was designed by Greg Breeding, an art director for USPS.
