Work is beginning on a $15 million expansion at Boeing’s facility in Huntsville.

According to Southern Exposure Information, a permit was issued for the project at 499 Boeing Blvd. last week. It was issued to Austin Tate, with the company’s project planning department. DPR Construction, Inc., is listed as the builder.

It was one of only three projects in Madison, Limestone and Morgan counties that exceeded $1 million during the week. Overall, 163 permits were issued, topping $52.5 million in the area.
