Woman killed after being ejected from car on I-59 in Tuscaloosa
A woman died early Thursday morning when she was ejected from the car she was driving after it veered off I-59 in Tuscaloosa, struck a concrete barrier and overturned, authorities said.
Angela C. Henderson, 37, of Tuscaloosa, was driving a 2013 Toyota Prius on I-59 around 12:05 a.m. Thursday when the car left the roadway, said Cpl. Reginal King with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
The Prius then hit a concrete barrier and overturned, King said.
Henderson, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the Prius. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, near the 71-mile marker of I-59.
