A woman has died from her injuries in a crash Friday in Mobile, police report.

Tiffany Spears, 49, died Saturday as a result of her injuries in the crash that happened at 7:25 a.m. Friday on the Cochrane Causeway near 6th Street, according to a statement released Tuesday morning by the Mobile Police Department.

Officers discovered a vehicle traveling northbound had crossed into the southbound lanes striking three other vehicles, according to the statement. Two of the drivers were injured, along with the driver who initially crossed into the opposite lanes, according to the statement.

Police are continuing an investigation into the crash. More details were not immediately available.
