Witnesses sought in Tuscaloosa shooting that killed 34-year-old man

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in the June shooting death of a 34-year-old man in Tuscaloosa.

Police responded at 9:49 p.m. Thursday, June 20, to 817 33rd Ave. North. They arrived to find Christopher Labryant Shobe dead outside the home.

Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit Capt. Jack Kennedy said Tuesday that investigators have learned Shobe had been having issues with several people on the evening that he was killed.

“It is very possible that this incident was witnessed by multiple people,’’ Kennedy said.
