Witnesses sought in shooting death of Selma 21-year-old; $1,000 reward offered
Authorities are searching for clues and witnesses in the shooting death of a young man in Selma.
Georgio Howell, 21, was slain Friday, March 17.
Selma police responded about 8 p.m. to the 2000 block of Second Avenue on a report of a person shot. When they arrived, they found Howell suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Additional details and a potential motive have not been released.
Central Alabama Crime Stoppers on Thursday announced a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
