A single-vehicle crash in Winston County left one woman dead.

Alabama State Troopers on Tuesday identified the fatality victim as Charity B. Cordray. She was 42 and lived in Haleyville.

The wreck happened at 11 p.m. Sunday on Winston County 11 near Littleville Road, about two miles east of Haleyville, said Trooper Cpl. Reginal King.

Cordray was driving a Toyota Avalon that veered off the road and struck a tree. She was ejected from the car.

King said Cordray was not using a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing by troopers.
