Wind chill advisory for Randolph County until Wednesday morning

The National Weather Service issued a wind chill advisory at 3:50 a.m. on Tuesday valid from 8 p.m. until Wednesday 8 a.m. for Randolph County.

The weather service says, “For the Winter Weather Advisory, freezing rain. Additional ice accumulations of a light glaze. For the Wind Chill Advisory tonight into Wednesday morning, very cold wind chills expected as low as zero.”

“Very slippery sidewalks, roads and bridges are possible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute,” explains the weather service. “Slow down and use caution while traveling. Prepare for possible power outages. Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.”
