Wind advisory issued for Mobile and Baldwin counties until Monday morning

A wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 3:27 a.m. valid from 6 p.m. until Monday 6 a.m. for Mobile and Baldwin counties.

The weather service comments, “Southeast winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph expected.”

“Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” adds the weather service. “Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.”
