Wind advisory affecting Mobile and Baldwin counties until Tuesday midday

A wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 2:32 a.m. valid for Tuesday between 3 a.m. and noon for Mobile and Baldwin counties.

The weather service comments, “South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts between 30 and 40 mph expected.”

“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” comments the weather service. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
