Will there be any record highs in Alabama this weekend?
The leaves are changing, but it won’t feel quite like fall across Alabama this weekend.
The National Weather Service is forecasting high temperatures to climb well into the 80s across the state both on Saturday and Sunday with no rain to speak of.
Saturday’s forecast high temperatures are at the top of this post. Below are the forecast highs for Sunday, which are very similar:
Temperatures will definitely be above what’s typical for this time of year in Alabama, which are 60s and 70s.
This weekend’s highs may not break any records, but they will come close.

A big change is on the way for Alabama’s weather next week. The weather service expects a strong but rain-starved cold front to sweep in starting on Monday, and temperatures are expected to plunge behind it.
Forecast high temperatures for Tuesday, or Halloween, are decidedly chilly in many places:
Lows on Tuesday and Wednesday nights could dip into the 20s or 30s in much of Alabama, and some frost or freeze warnings could be in the future.
