Will the Bills fare better versus Lightning McQueen than they did against King Henry?

When Baltimore and Buffalo squared off in the regular season, the Bills got steamrolled by Ravens running back Derrick Henry. The former Alabama All-American ran for 199 yards and one touchdown on 24 carries in Baltimore’s 35-10 victory on Sept. 29.

And he was just “King Henry” then. Now, Henry has a new persona.

After Henry ran for 186 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries in the Ravens’ 28-14 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in a Wild-Card Weekend win last week, Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson told reporters the running back reminded him of Lightning McQueen, the animated racecar from the movie “Cars.”

“I don’t want to be called anything else but McQueen,” Henry said. “Don’t call me Derrick. Just call me McQueen. No, I’m kidding. It was funny. I didn’t think that would be the comparison, but L is L. I told him he needs to be a comedian when he’s done playing, but I definitely got a kick and a laugh out of that. …

“I said, ‘Were you serious in that?’ He was like, ‘I was dead serious.’ I was like, ‘OK then. McQueen it is then.’ It was funny. I don’t know who he was talking to saying he might be too old to watch the movie, but I’m sure everybody knows about the ‘Ka-chow’ because everybody has seen Lightning McQueen.”

The third-seeded Ravens and second-seeded Bills meet in an AFC Divisional Weekend game at 5:30 p.m. CST at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. CBS will televise the game.

The winner of the game will play the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 26 at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. The winner of that game will represent the AFC in Super Bowl LIX on Feb. 9.

The Chiefs advanced to the AFC Championship Game for the seventh season in a row by beating the Houston Texans 23-14 on Saturday.

“Week 4 doesn’t mean anything in this game,” Henry said about facing Buffalo again. “Week 4 was Week 4. This is a whole other game and another opportunity. They’re a great team, and we have to prepare right to be ready for them.”

Henry said Sunday’s game would be “a heavyweight fight.”

If that’s the case, Bills coach Sean McDermott would like to make sure his team was in the same weight class as Henry.

“If we had about five 300-pound linebackers, I think we’d be in pretty good shape,” McDermott said. “I don’t know who has that size of linebacker in the NFL. He’s been doing this for years, and he’s really good at it, so I don’t know if anybody’s ever stopped him.”

After eight playoff games, Henry is 82 rushing yards from becoming the seventh NFL player with 1,000 in the postseason.
