Will Jalen Milroe be a first-round pick? The latest Mel Kiper mock draft

The NFL scouting combine is taking place in Indianapolis, Indiana this week.

So, ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. released another NFL mock draft. It remains pretty consistent with many mock drafts that expect both guard Tyler Booker and linebacker Jihaad Campbell to be first-round selections this April.

That’s it for Alabama players, though. That means as of now Kiper doesn’t view Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Milroe as a first round pick right now.

Of course, these are only projections. All it takes is for one team to fall in love with a player, or for there to be run of players drafted at that position, for a player to go higher in the draft than expected.

But as of now, Kiper projects the Seattle Seahawks will take Booker with the No. 18 overall pick. Then, with the very next pick, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are projected to pick Campbell.

That’s it for the Crimson Tide in the first round. The only two quarterbacks Kiper included in his mock draft were Miami’s Cam Ward and Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders.
