A 72-year old woman was killed and her husband was injured in a double shooting Friday in Dothan at the scene of a burning home.

Jolaine Chandler, and her husband, Edgar Keith Chandler, were found shot on Webb to Kinsey Road near Alabama Highway 52, Houston County Coroner Robert Byrd and Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza told WSFA.

The sheriff’s office could not be reached by AL.com to confirm the details of the incident.

Officers found one of the victim’s in the burning house’s backyard.
