Who’s still undefeated in college football after Saturday?
Two undefeated major college football teams lost on Saturday, leaving us with just four FBS unbeatens after eight weeks of the 2022 season.
The four remaining undefeated teams are Georgia (9-0), Ohio State (9-0), Michigan (9-0) and TCU (9-0). The Bulldogs, Buckeyes, Wolverines and Horned Frogs all won conference games on Saturday.
Falling from the ranks of the unbeaten were Clemson and Tennessee, both of which lost on the road Saturday. The Tigers fell 35-14 at Notre Dame, while the Volunteers went down 27-13 at Georgia.
Ohio State and Michigan play each other Nov. 26 in Columbus, which means we will have no more than three unbeaten FBS teams at the end of the regular season. The Buckeyes also host Indiana and play at Maryland, while the Wolverines host Nebraska and Illinois.
Georgia is at Mississippi State and at Kentucky, then hosts Georgia Tech to close out the regular season. TCU is at Baylor and at Texas, then hosts Iowa State.
