Who’s atop the Birmingham News girls basketball final Power 5?
With state championships marking the end of high school basketball season last week, four Birmingham-area girls teams earned a spot in the final four.
Two area teams won championships at BJCC Legacy Arean while the other two lost in the title game.
Making it to the final four were Hewitt-Trussville, Hoover, Huffman and Jasper.
The Birmingham News Power 5 ranks the best girls basketball teams in the area regardless of class.
