As evidenced by The Huntsville Times Super 7 feature all spring and the AHSAA state playoff results, the region is full of top baseball talent.

AL.com is again selecting a team of 22 players – the Terrific 22 – to recognize the best of the best from this season. The Huntsville Times Terrific 22 honors players regardless of class, position or school year and was selected by the AL.com sports staff with nominations from coaches.

AL.com also names a Player of the Year, Coach of the Year and Newcomer of the Year that will be announced on Friday.
