Who should be the AL.com player of the week from the flag football championships?

Fans can cast their votes for the AL.com high school flag football player of the week from the state championships.

Voting is open until Wednesday night. The winner will be announced on AL.com on Thursday.

Here are the nominees:

Gerritt Griggs, Central-Phenix City: The quarterback completed 14 of her 19 passes for 253 yards and six touchdowns to lead Central to a 55-7 win over Spain Park in the Class 6A/7A state flag football championship game.

Jamie McGuire, Montgomery Catholic: McGuire finished with nine solo tackles, six tackles for loss and four sacks in the Knights’ 14-7 win over Moody in the Class 1A-5A state flag football championship.

Emma Kile, Moody: Kile was 14-of-29 passing for 164 yards and a touchdown in Moody’s loss to Montgomery Catholic in the Class 1A-5A championship. She also led the Blue Devils on defense with four tackles, two interceptions and a pass breakup.

Amber Mangina, Spain Park: Mangina led the team’s defense with six solo tackles and an interception in the Jaguars’ loss to Central-Phenix City in the Class 6A-7A title game. She also had two catches for 40 yards and a touchdown on offense.
