Who should be the AL.com football player of the week from the Super 7 championships?

Fans can cast their votes for the AL.com high school football player of the week for the Super 7 state football championships.

Voting is open until Wednesday night. The winner will be announced on AL.com on Thursday.

Here are the nominees:

Jourdin Crawford, Parker: The Auburn signee earned game MVP honors after totaling seven tackles, three sacks, 4.5 tackles for loss and a pass breakup in a 28-17 win over Saraland in the Class 6A state title game.

Catavis Martin, Reeltown: Martin, a North Alabama signee, hauled in two interceptions on defense and recovered a fumble on defense in Reeltown’s 49-13 win over Tuscaloosa Academy in the Class 2A state title game. He also finished with touches for 146 total yards and two touchdowns on offense.

Ezavier Crowell, Jackson: Crowell ran the ball 12 times for 140 yards and three touchdowns in the Aggies’ 69-6 rout of Cherokee County in the Class 4A state championship game.

Giovanni Hayner, Montgomery Catholic: Hayner finished with 126 rushing yards on 19 carries to earn Class 5A title game MVP and lead his team to a 17-14 win over Moody.

Jaquez Wilkes, Wadley: Wilkes finished with 38 carries for 312 yards and five touchdowns to lead Wadley to a 37-7 win over Maplesville in the Class 1A state title game. He also had a team-high 10 tackles (seven solo), two tackles for loss and an interception on defense.

Hudson Higgins, Mars Hill Bible: Higgins ran for 200 yards and scored three times to lead Mars Hill Bible to a 50-43 win over Houston Academy in the Class 3A state championship game.

Kadyn Mitchell, Houston Academy: The quarterback completed 19 of his 25 passes for 388 yards and four touchdowns in Houston Academy’s loss to Mars Hill Bible in the Class 3A title game. He also had 12 rushes for 45 yards.

Landon Duckworth, Jackson: The Jackson quarterback completed 14 of his 17 passes for 325 yards and five touchdowns as Jackson beat Cherokee County 69-6 in the Class 4A title game.

Kaleb Goff, Moody: The senior led Moody with eight tackles (seven solo) and logged a tackle for loss in the Blue Devils’ loss to Montgomery Catholic in the 5A title game. He also had seven carries for 25 yards and a touchdown on offense.

Darion Moseley, Thompson: The receiver finished with four catches for 61 yards and two touchdowns in Thompson’s 21-7 win over Central-Phenix City in the Class 7A title game.
