Who is your choice for the Week 8 State Volleyball Player of the Week?

Alabama High School Athletic Association volleyball teams enter the postseason this week and AL.com has a dozen outstanding performers as nominees for Week 8 State Volleyball Player of the Week.

Check out these nominees, in alphabetical order, chosen based on information provided by coaches and statisticians and vote for your favorite.

Voting will end Thursday at 5 p.m. and results will be posted on Fridays during the season.

Week 8 nominees:

RayAnna Ausley, Geneva: The senior outside hitter had 36 kills on the week to push her career total to 1,027. She also had 49 digs to run her total to 1,431. Ausley had a 2.13 service receive rating for the 28-5 Class 4A No. 9 squad.

Cailyn Boykin, Spanish Fort: A sophomore setter for the third-ranked Class 6A Toros, Boykin had 236 assists, 79 digs, 21 kills and 21 aces for the week as Spanish Fort improved to 53-9 this season.

Leah Childress, Priceville: The senior outside hitter for the 52-7 Bulldogs had 89 kills to surpass 1,000 on her career. Childress also had 37 digs and 14 aces for Class 5A No. 4 Priceville.

Parker Goff, Faith Academy: The senior outside hitter surpassed 1,500 career kills with 91 last week for the 28-14 Rams. She also had 42 digs, 13 aces and 8 blocks.

Olivia Guenster, Hoover: Guenster, a senior libero/defensive specialist, had 93 digs, 41 kills, 18 aces and 2 blocks for the 35-9 Bucs, who are ranked third in Class 7A.

Abby Langlois, Priceville: Langlois, another Priceville standout who turned in a big week, went over 1,000 kills as a junior with 90. She also had 11 aces, 9 blocks and 9 digs for the 52-7 Class 5A Bulldogs.

Macy Lea, Cherokee County: The junior setter surpassed 3,000 career assists for the Class 4A No. 7 Warriors last week. She finished with 151 assists with 22 digs, 13 kills and 4 aces as Cherokee County went 6-0 to improve to 38-13.

Ella Lomax, Daphne: Junior outside hitter Ella Lomax got her 1,000th career dig in the Baldwin County Tournament championship, finishing with 52. She also had 61 kills, 9 blocks and 7 aces with a .232 hitting percentage and a 2.0 passer rating for the 33-14 Class 7A No. 8 Trojans.

Chloe May, Central-Florence: May finished the week with 226 assists, 63 digs, 17 aces and 21 kills for the 41-13 fourth-ranked Class 4A Wildcats.

Anna Moore, Trinity: Moore, a senior outside hitter, had 88 kills with 42 digs, 9 aces and 5 blocks for top-ranked Class 5A Trinity.

AnnaBeth Powell, Addison: The freshman setter helped the top-ranked 1A Bulldogs to the Winston County championship with 94 assists, 24 digs, 13 kills, 8 aces and a block.

Addi Vinson, Montgomery Academy: A senior setter, Vinson helped the Class 6A No. 1 Eagles to the Shrimp Fest Tournament title at Gulf Shores. She finished the week with 170 assists, 53 digs, 14 kills and 6 blocks for Montgomery Academy (45-3).
