Jefferson County employees earn anywhere from $7,500 to about $350,000 annually according to public records for the 2024 fiscal year, which began Oct. 1.

County attorneys and department directors make up over half of the top ten highest paid positions on the list. When combined, these ten individual salaries total out to just under $2.5 million.
