Salaries for employees of the city of Leeds range from $7,200 to more than $145,000 annually, according to a list published by Alabama Messenger earlier this year.

Since 2003, Alabama law has required that all cities and towns in Jefferson County provide their salary lists to a weekly newspaper once a year. Leeds City Clerk Toushi Arbitelle said the city publishes the data annually through the Alabama Messenger.
