When is Matt Rife touring?
This week, Rife announced his global “ProbleMATTic” your, with more than 200 shows spanning the U.S., Canada, Australia and Europe.
The tickets are in high demand, with many already selling out via presale, but some fans are upset about the way Ticketmaster is handling ticket sales for the star’s upcoming tour. The presale code was made available to the general public, causing long wait times in the queue, inflated ticket prices and sold-out shows.
Several cities have already announced adding additional shows to Rife’s tour stops, including Birmingham. But that hasn’t stopped fans from blasting Ticketmaster for their business practices.
Ed Bertarelli lives in Montgomery and is a huge fan of Rife. He said, “Live Nation and Ticketmaster are destroying the fan experience by corporate greed.” Bertarelli said he was able to buy two tickets for the Nashville show at the price of $291.50 before taxes and fees.
