Who did readers pick as Huntsville Times top prep athletes?
Readers have made their choices for The Huntsville Times Boys and Girls Athletes of the Year for the 2023-24 school year in overwhelming fashion.
As it turned out in the voters’ minds, one school had the two best athletes – Westminster Christian.
Wildcats quarterback Brandon Musch was the runaway poll winner for the boys and soccer star AnnaLi Weekley earned the most votes, by a wide margin, on the girls’ side.
Musch got 93 percent of the readers’ votes in the poll with Buckhorn’s Caleb Holt, the Alabama Sports Writers Association Mr. Basketball, finishing second ahead of Fyffe tailback Logan Anderson and the ASWA’s Mr. Baseball Braden Booth of Bob Jones.
