Where are Auburnâs players as NFL training camps open?
The New York Jets will become the first NFL team in training camp for the 2023 season on Wednesday, and by Tuesday, every team in the league will have reported.
The training-camp rosters will include 38 former Auburn players. Ten are reporting to training camp for the first time in their pro careers.

By roster position, Auburn has eight defensive backs, six defensive linemen, six linebackers, five offensive linemen, four wide receivers, two kickers, two quarterbacks, two tight ends, one long snapper, one punter and one running back on NFL rosters.
The Jets, Carolina Panthers, Green Bay Packers, Jacksonville Jaguars and Tampa Bay Buccaneers have three players apiece from Auburn on their offseason rosters. Eight teams do not have an Auburn alumnus.
During the NFL’s 2022 campaign, 26 former Auburn players appeared in regular-season games. That was the fewest since 2013, a drop of six players from 2021 and a continued decline from the program high of 36 reached in 2016.
