‘When Hope Calls’ season 2 premiere: How to watch, where to stream free
After a years-long hiatus, season two of When Hope Calls—a spinoff of Hallmark’s treasured series When Calls the Heart—premieres on Great American Family Sunday, April 6 at 8/7c.
Though season two of the spinoff series technically started with the back-to-back Christmas specials in 2021, the upcoming April 6 episode brings the show out of its extended break with new storylines.
This week’s episode titled “A New Beginning,” follows Nora, an out-of-town lawyer who arrives in Brookfield led by an unexpected family connection. Luckily for Nora, the town welcomes her along with new Mountie, Michael Fletcher. Meanwhile, Sam returns from prospecting for gold and meets Maggie’s parents who have come to visit.
What is When Hope Calls about?
The returning series is a spinoff of the legendary book series, When Calls the Heart, and follows sisters Lillian Walsh (Morgan Kohan) and Grace Bennett (Jocelyn Hudon) living in the town of Brookfield, circa 1916.
Key storylines center on the town’s orphanage and its residents who meet tremendous challenges while creating a hopeful community on the cusp of change.
