Kentucky and FCS-level Eastern Kentucky resume a rarely played series between schools located about 35 miles apart on Saturday, Sept. 9. The game will be live streamed on ESPN+ and Sling Orange.

Kentucky is coming off a 44-14 victory over Ball State keyed by a fierce, opportunistic defense that forced two fumbles leading to 10 points. Quarterback Devin Leary and running back Ray Davis combined for three touchdowns in their UK debuts.

The Colonels aim to bounce back from a 66-13 blowout by Cincinnati. EKU was outgained 667-302 by the Bearcats but remain one of FCS’ top attacks behind QB Parker McKinney, who has thrown for nearly 10,000 yards with 75 touchdowns.

Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky meet at 11 a.m. (noon) on Saturday, Sept. 9.
