Alabama-Texas A&M game week has reached the Wednesday evening segment and Nick Saban’s final meeting with local reporters.

Here’s the rundown of what he had to say from the podium.

— Maintaining intensity for the entire game remains the talking point for Saban, saying it begins with practice. Enough is never enough, he said.

— “This is going to be a very challenging game for us,” Saban said.

— Saban said players have responded well to Jalen Milroe “with what he’s had to do.” He said he showed the kind of leadership they’d want at Arkansas.

— The offensive line has “shown signs” of playing with more physicality. He said the Arkansas game was the best they’ve been all season.

— Saban is impressed with the size, speed and physicality of the Texas A&M secondary.

— Kool-Aid McKinstry and Terrion Arnold separated from the competition by not allowing the big plays in the passing game. They’d been two of four players in the cornerback competition.

— Texas A&M does a great job mismatching running backs in the passing game, especially when defenses play man.

— Jaheim Oatis “has a lot of power and has good quickness for his size,” Saban said. He did a great job of pushing the pocket and was involved in a few sacks.
