What does Tua Tagovailoa say during an NFL game?
What does Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa say during an NFL game? It’s more than strategy and play-calls, as the former Alabama All-American demonstrated during the Dolphins’ 20-13 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
As Tagovailoa told his teammates more than once, “I’m mic’d up” for the contest, which ended up going down to the wire when Miami’s offense stalled in the second half after Tagovailoa had thrown for 205 yards and two touchdowns in the first half.
In addition to directing, encouraging and congratulating his teammates, Tagovailoa had things to say to his opponents, too. But “Good hit” and “Keep the Lord first, man. Keep being you” don’t make Tagovailoa a trash-talker.

Tagovailoa and the Dolphins will be back on the field in the NFL’s first Black Friday game. At 7-3 and on top of the AFC East, Miami visits the New York Jets in a division rivalry game at 2 p.m. CST Friday at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Prime Video will televise the game.
At 4-6 and on a three-game losing streak, the Jets plan to make Tim Boyle their third starting quarterback this season on Friday.
