Coachspeak: “It is so tough to come in here and play because coach (Joe) Hollis does such an unbelievable job with his team and they just wouldn’t go away. We never felt comfortable, but I’m so proud of guys like Houston Scott, who caught his first two varsity passes and got his first touchdown. I’m just so proud of these guys, glad to be 1-1, but more glad to be 1-0 in the region. – Louis LeBlanc, Westminster head coach

They said it: “This was just a big region win over a tough North Jackson team and we knew it was going to be a tough game because those guys never quit because they’ve got some ballers over their playing both sides of the ball. I think it was huge that we were able to spread the ball around, but we know we need to tweak some things. We’re 1-0 in the region and it’s on to next week” – Musch

What’s next: Westminster will host St. John Paul II and North Jackson will host Randolph.
