Class 4A No. 4 West Morgan scored touchdowns on six straight possessions in the first half and romped past Anniston 50-20 in Trinity on Friday, propelling the Rebels to their first state semifinal appearance in school history.

The Rebels (13-0) intercepted three Anniston passes in the first half and raced to a 43-6 lead by intermission. Ty Jones scored three touchdowns and ran in three conversions and MacArri Johnson scored on runs of 27 and 68 yards, allowing head coach Drew Phillips to rest numerous starters in the second half.
