We’re pretty sure Roy Wood Jr. was in that E-trade baby Super Bowl ad

Roy Wood Jr., the Birmingham-raised comedian, writer, actor, and producer, has been a star on the rise for years.

Fans don’t even need to see his face to recognize his work. The “Daily Show” star and former 95.7 JAMZ phone prankster’s voice is so well known that fans started guessing his identity immediately after a Super Bowl commercial aired Sunday.

“Is that Roy Wood Jr?” fans posted to Twitter after an E*TRADE ad aired featuring talking babies.

Indeed.

“Here’s to being financially ready for anything,” Wood said, toasting a glass of milk.

The comedian joked about the spot and the ongoing game on Twitter.

“Aye chill fam.”
