Wayne Brady reportedly in âphysical altercationâ with driver who hit him in DUI crash
Wayne Brady was involved in a physical altercation with another driver following a car accident in California on Sunday night, according to a report.
The “Let’s Make a Deal” host, 51, was driving on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu when another car struck his vehicle, law enforcement officials told TMZ.
Both drivers pulled over and started arguing before “escalating into a physical altercation,” the gossip site said.
Brady reportedly called 911 while the other driver, also 51, fled the scene. Sheriff’s deputies located the man who was arrested for battery, DUI and hit-and-run.
The Emmy-winning television personality was assessed at the scene and did not require hospitalization or medical attention, though he is now “banged up and sore.”
No other details were released and Brady has not commented on the incident publicly.
Brady is set to appear as the title character in a Broadway revival of “The Wiz” in January 2024.
Earlier this year, the “Whose Line Is It Anyway” mainstay came out as pansexual.
“I advocate mental health for all and a part of that is self-transparency. In doing my work, I’ve come to see a few truths, one of them being that I want to be free to love whomever I want. This truth makes me Pan and part of the lgbtq+ family,” he captioned a video on Instagram.
