Watch video of Donald Trump during suspected assassination attempt

Former President Donald Trump is “fine” after a shooting at a rally in Bulter, Pennsylvania today, according to his campaign staff. One person, as well as the alleged shooter, are dead, the AP is reporting.

The shots rang out about 5 minutes into his rally. The video shows Trump speaking to a crowd when you hear popping noises before Trump reaches up and touches his right ear. Screams can be heard from the ground as Trump ducks behind the podium as the Secret Service jumps to surround him.

Trump, with blood coming out of his ear, is shown being whisked away by the Secret Service. Trump holds his fist up to the crowd and appears to mouth the words “fight” to the crowd.

AP is reporting the presumptive Republican nominee was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

“President Trump thanks law enforcement and first responders for their quick action during this heinous act,” spokesman Steven Cheung said in a statement. “He is fine and is being checked out at a local medical facility. More details will follow.”

It has been reported one rally attendee was dead and the shooter was killed. No additional details have been released. AP is now reporting the shooting is being investigated as an assassination attempt.
