The Michigan Wolverines are the No. 1-ranked team heading into the College Football Playoff. That was perhaps the most certain aspect of Sunday’s reveal.

However, that’s not why Jim Harbaugh’s team is trending. Instead, the Wolverines’ reaction to their opponents has caught a lot of attention on social media. Let’s just say they don’t exactly seem thrilled they are matched against Nick Saban’s fourth-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide.

Michigan will face Alabama in the Rose Bowl and Washington will play Texas in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 1 and the winners will square off for the national championship Jan. 8 in Houston.

Big Ten champion Michigan is making its third straight appearance in the CFP, still looking for its first playoff victory. Michigan shut out Iowa in the Big Ten title game to complete a dominant season.
