Watch Jim Harbaugh get ‘15-0′ tattoo to commemorate Michigan’s national championship
Former Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh stayed true to his word Saturday and got a tattoo to commemorate the Wolverines’ CFP national championship.
Harbaugh, now the coach of the NFL’s Los Angeles Chargers,
Michigan defensive back Mike Sainristil posted a video of Harbaugh getting the tattoo. He got a block “M” with “15-0″ underneath on his upper right arm.
After the Wolverines topped Washington in the title game, Harbaugh said, per Yahoo, he promised the team he would get inked if they went undefeated. Michigan finished 15-0.
“I have no ink on my body no tattoos anywhere, but I did say that to our players,” Harbaugh said in January. “I said if we go 15-0, I’m getting a tattoo, it’s 15-0. I’m going to put it on my shoulder — I don’t know if it’s my left or right yet. I’m a right-handed quarterback, I’ll probably get it on my right.”
On Saturday, the Wolverines had their spring game, and members of the 2023 team received their championship rings, which included national title rings.
In the 2024 Maize vs. Blue Spring Game, the Maize beat the Blue 17-7.
Davis Warren found receiver Kendrick Bell for a 42-year TD strike, then hit Fredrick Moore for a 48-yard score for the Maize to highlight the fourth quarter.
