Watch Donald Trump visit a Georgia Waffle House with Marjorie Taylor Greene
Donald Trump swung by a nearby Waffle House after his roughly 90-minute speech to Georgia GOP delegates, where roughly 100 supporters and customers greeted the former president.
He was joined by U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene during his quick stopover at the iconic Georgia-based chain. WTVM reported that Secret Service agents left with a to-go bag full of food.
“Keep fighting, keep fighting, keep fighting,” a woman there told the former president.
Trump signed autographs, posed for photos and chatted with supporters, The Associated Press reported.
From AP’s coverage:
“We did absolutely nothing wrong,” Trump said of federal authorities unsealing a lengthy indictment accusing him of mishandling national security secrets and then covering up his actions.
He then went on to speak to another Republican audience in North Carolina.
