Watch compilation of Alabama fan-submitted reaction to 4th-and-31 to beat Auburn
We asked, and, boy, did you deliver.
On the heels of Alabama’s dramatic and last-second 27-24 win over Auburn in the Iron Bowl on Saturday, we asked you to send us your reaction to Jalen Milroe’s 4th-and-31 touchdown pass to Isaiah Bond. Like Milroe’s final pass, you didn’t disappoint.
Check out a compilation of Alabama fan-submitted footage in the video above.
One fan topped them all, though. Joshua Tucker, 31, of Midland City went viral in his video for seemingly playing the game with his Alabama Crimson Tide in front of his TV. He got a workout, changed jerseys and even experimented with a few choice words during the rollercoaster of a game.
Milroe found Bond in the left corner of the end zone with 32 seconds left, and the Crimson Tide (11-1, 8-0 SEC, No. 8 CFP) came out on top in the latest improbable finish at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Alabama has won 10 straight since losing at home to Texas on Sept. 9, but still needs to beat No. 1 Georgia in Saturday’s SEC Championship Game to make the playoff.
Trailing by four with 1:43 left, Alabama had first-and-goal at the Auburn 7 before moving backward. The Tide lost 18 yards on a bad snap and were pushed back 5 more yards with an illegal downfield pass on third down after Milroe crossed the line of scrimmage.
Then came a play that Bond called “The Gravedigger.”
