Jarquez Hunter became the first Auburn player to be selected in the 2025 NFL Draft, getting picked by the Los Angeles Rams in the fourth round.

He’s one of a small handful of Auburn players expected to be drafted this year, and the ones still waiting to hear their names called didn’t hide their excitement for Hunter.

Videos of Eugene Asante and KeAndre Lambert-Smith were posted to social media Saturday afternoon, celebrating Hunter’s selection while waiting to hear their own names called at their respective draft parties.

AL.com was on site for Asante’s draft party, and caught his reaction to Hunter’s selection. Lambert-Smith’s reaction was posted to Auburn football’s X (formerly Twitter) page.
