The Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board is holding sweepstakes events for bourbon enthusiasts during the four weekends in September.

ABC stores will offer the most sought-after brands for one of the four giants in the bourbon industry each Saturday.

• Heaven Hill – Sept. 6
• Brown Forman – Sept. 13
• Jim Beam – Sept. 20
• Sazerac – Sept. 27

The sweepstakes offer a chance for customers to win a place in line at the stores.

Registration starts Aug. 4 at 8 a.m. and will close Aug. 24 at 11:59 p.m. CST.

Visit the ABC Board website to select up to four stores and up to four events – as many as 16 chances to win a place in line.

Entrants must be Alabama residents who are 21 or older. Active-duty military stationed in Alabama with proof of residency are eligible.

The name and address submitted on the entry form must match the information on Alabama-issued ID or driver’s license.

The ABC Board will notify all entrants of whether they won within 48 hours of the close of registration.

Winners are randomly selected and can win only one spot in line over the course of the sweeps. Winning a place in line does not guarantee access to specific products.

Available products and retail costs will be posted Aug. 4 at 8 a.m.

• Store 55 – 201 Rele St., Mountain Brook
• Store 67 – 160 Baldwin Sq., Fairhope
• Store 87 – 5832 Hwy. 90 West, Theodore
• Store 102 – 3420 McFarland Blvd. East, Tuscaloosa
• Store 175 – 2786 Eastern Blvd., Montgomery
• Store 185 – 1641 Ashville Rd., Leeds
• Store 226 – 3051 Frederick Rd., Opelika

As with previous ABC Board sweeps, a walk-up line will be available to those who did not win a place in line.

Places in the walk-up line are available on a first come, first served basis.
