Walmart products recalled nationwide: Here’s the latest list
Fettucine products linked to a listeria outbreak, eggs and medicines are among the recalls announced by Walmart.
The nation’s largest retailer tracks recalls on its website for products sold at Walmart stores, Walmart.com, Sam’s Club or Samsclub.com.
“Walmart and Sam’s Club are committed to the health and safety of our customers and members and to providing products that are safe and compliant, all supported by our health and wellness, product safety, and food safety professionals,” Walmart said in announcement on its website. “In the event of a product recall, we work swiftly to block the item from being sold and remove it from our stores and clubs,”
Recalled products
FreshRealm Chicken Fettucine Alfredo – A multistate outbreak linked to chicken alfredo meals is being investigated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Seventeen cases have been reported in 13 states with three deaths attributed to listeriosis, the illness associated with listeria contamination. There was also a fetal loss after a pregnant woman consumed the products.
Recalled products include:
- 32.8-oz. tray packages containing Marketside Grilled Chicken Alfredo with Fettucine Tender Pasta with Creamy Alfredo Sauce, White Meat Chicken and Shaved Parmesan Cheese” with best-by date June 27 or prior.
- 12.3 oz. tray packages containing Marketside Grilled Chicken Alfredo with Fettucine Tender Pasta with Creamy Alfredo Sauce, White Meat Chicken, Broccoli and Shaved Parmesan Cheese” with best-by date by June 26 or prior.
- 12.5 oz. tray packages containing Home Chef Heat & Eat Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo with pasta, grilled white meat chicken, and Parmesan cheese” with best-by date June 19 or prior.
Eggs – Multiple brands of brown eggs sold by August Egg Company have been recalled. Some 1.7 million dozen eggs have the potential to be contaminated with salmonella. The eggs were distributed from Feb. 3- May 15.
Zicam and Orajel products – Church & Dwight Co., Inc. announced a recall of all lots of Zicam Cold Remedy Nasal Swabs, Zicam Nasal AllClear Swabs, and Orajel Baby Teething Swabs due to the potential of fungi contamination in the cotton swabs. The products were distributed nationwide.
Products were:
- Zicam Cold Remedy Nasal Swabs, with UPC 732216301205, all lots: A zinc-free, homeopathic cold remedy swab designed to shorten the duration of the common cold.
- Zicam Nasal AllClear Swabs, with UPC 732216301656, all lots: A nasal cleansing swab product (discontinued in December 2024).
- Orajel Baby Teething Swabs, with UPC 310310400002, all lots: Pre-moistened swabs designed to soothe teething discomfort in infants and toddlers.
