Walmart ordering deadlines: What are last days, time to order for Christmas delivery?

We’re down to the last few days before Christmas and the shopping hustle and bustle is all too real.

Many shoppers are opting to skip the craziness and order online but there are deadlines that you need to know.

Walmart.com has holiday delivery deadlines in place with some coming in just under the wire on Christmas Eve.

“We’re proud of the progress we’ve made this year in our supply chain transformation,” said David Guggina, Walmart executive vice president of supply chain operations, Walmart U.S. “We’re ensuring customers can count on Walmart having the items they want, when they want them, no matter when they choose to shop this holiday season.”

Here are the times and dates you need to know:

  • Dec. 23 – Order by 12:30 p.m. local time on Dec. 23 for delivery by Dec. 25 for delivery with next-day or two-day shipping.
  • Dec. 24 – Order by 4 p.m. local time on Dec. 24 for Express Delivery that allows for items to arrive in as soon as 30 minutes in most areas.
  • Dec. 24 – Order by noon local time on Dec. 24 for in-store same day pickup and delivery. This deadline includes curbside pickups from more than 4,000 stores. Same day delivery is also available  – customers can place an order by noon for same-day pickup and delivery through 4 p.m.
