Walmart makes another change to home delivery
Walmart has previously tinkered with its delivery schedule to allow for early-morning drop offs of groceries and other needed items. Now, it’s adding delivery options for the late night as well.
Walmart announced Ultra Late-Night Delivery with expanded hours until midnight. The service is offered at stores nationwide for orders placed by 10:30 p.m.
The change means delivery from the nation’s largest retailer will now be available from 6 a.m. to midnight.
Options are almost limitless, but Walmart said the late-nights can be particularly valuable for late-night snack delivery, medicine and other necessities when there is an illness or pet supplies.
Orders can be placed through the company’s website or app and members of Walmart+ – the retailer’s paid shopping program – will receive standard delivery for free.
Walmart also offers On-Demand Delivery for same-day service so customers can select their own time.
You can see more on subscribing to Walmart+ here.
